The fascinating site that most visitors never forgets to miss once they are in Kompong Speu province is Chambok village. Chambok village is a popular site since long time ago that most of people love going there because they can see beautiful waterfall and the green tree of large forest. As this place is near Kirirom Mountain National Park, the location is also similar as well which is 112 km from Phnom Penh city of National Highway 4 on the road to Sihanoukville.

If you consider to give a grab this great opportunity to be in Chambok, you have to make sure that the season in Cambodia is not dry season. Apparently, in Cambodia besides the specific weather of dry season and rainy season, there is also a season of windy which everyone loves it the most because they can travel delightedly without the hotness of the sun. The justification why there is a recommendation of not going in dry season because you cannot have a nice chance of seeing or playing in the large amount of water of waterfall. The water will flow very little. Thus, choose your date to not miss the magnificent view of waterfall.

Moreover, you can have a fire-camp and delicious food or barbecue there in front of the tents while beauty of the moon and stars will illuminate you.   

How to get there!!   

Heading to Kompong Speu province will be taken you by bus or other transportations. However, if you don’t have your personal transportation after arriving at this province, there are other different transportations for you to make a choice of reaching Chambok such as bicycle renting, jogging, and the last exciting and nice experiencing transportation that you should try is a cow transportation which can carry a few people over there. A cow transportation a traditional and well-known solution of carrying most villagers from one place to another.
